March 24th-28th, we will be participating in the HRM March Madness Food Drive competition. Students and staff are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items or money to donate (to the main office).

Our 21st annual Head for a Cure event is coming up on April 16th.  

Halifax West has raised over 160,000$ over the last 20 years and we're hoping to add to that again this year. 

Monthly Torch - February

Due to pending weather, curriculum night is canceled. Teachers will email the information to families.

Date: Wednesday, Jan. 29th – Afternoon Exams, 1:00-3:00pm, are postponed due to school weather closure and are rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon 1:00-3:00pm, Thursday, Jan 30th.
