The Nova Scotia International Student program is looking for Student Ambassadors for the 2018-2019 School Year. Student ambassadors work with and mentor students who come to Canada for a term or for the entire school year. The ambassador will be a liaison between staff and students and help students get settled.  They also help organize fun events for students while they are studying in Canada.  Students come from Europe, Asia and South America and ambassadors make lifelong friends.  Student Ambassadors should to be non IB students who have some free time to spend with students daily.  If you are interested and want to know more see Mr. Trivett in the library. 

Grade 12 potential graduates: If you are interested in representing your graduating class at graduation, applications for valedictorian are due in the main office on Fri. April 20 @ 3:30pm. No late applications will be accepted.

The Halifax West Programming Club will meet today at lunch in Room B320. Our regular guest Robert Smith from Dalhousie will be present. 

The prom committee is selling a raffle basket that is filled with items that can help you prepare for prom. The basket is worth over $300 and has many items such as fashion and beauty coupons, free eyelash extensions, a free spray tan and a free tux rental. Tickets will be on sale in the caf until April 20th. Tickets are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5. Gets yours today. 

Calling all artists! Give your art the loving attention it deserves and submit your artwork to be shown in this month’s Coffee House Art Show. Check out the Arts Board for more information. 

The West’s Spring Coffee House is right around the corner. The Coffee House will be happening on Wednesday, April 25th at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria. Free food and drink will be provided, and admission is only $2 at the door! Make sure you don’t miss this night of stellar student talent and art! Sign up to perform in the Coffee House is on the Call Board now. 

Congrats to the girls’ lacrosse team who won their second game last night 8-0. The boys tied JL 4-4 in a very slippery game. The boys play again tonight at 6:00 pm against Sackville High at Lebrun.

Our girls’ rugby team have their HOME OPENER game today at 4:45 at SNS vs Lockview!!  Come out and show some warriors support!

There will be a very important but quick meeting for the badminton team members attending provincials today at lunch in room C344 with Mr. Chiasson. There will also be a practice tomorrow night in the gym from 7:30-9.
