All names on the boys "A" soccer list found in the gym area are asked to return to training today at 3:45 at Mainland commons.

A huge congrats and welcome home to warrior, Marlee Macintosh on her gold medal win at canoe marathon world championships in Portugal this past week!

Congratulations to our girl’s varsity soccer team for taking gold at the Harrison Trimble tournament this weekend in Moncton. Halifax west has won this tournament for five years in a row!  Way to go girls!  Mr. Snook and Mr. MacRae would like to thank all girls who tried out for the team this past weekend.

There will be tryouts for the boys baseball team held today, Wednesday and Friday of this week.  Tryouts will take place from 3:30 - 5:00 at  Westridge field.

A reminder that our football home opener is tonight at mainland common starting at 7 PM! We will be selling $2 foam fingers for the game, today at lunch in the caf.

Also, best buddies applications will be in the office this Wednesday!

The store in A317 will be selling West Wear during 3rd period and lunch today.

Mr. Scott, is looking for students of African descent to join the Halifax West Umoja Club.  If interested please come to the seminar room at lunchtime on Friday.

The Halifax West March Break 2019 trip goes to Eastern Europe, including Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Join us as we travel to World War II and Cold War sites and museums while experiencing the beauty of Eastern Europe.  There will be a meeting for new recruits Thursday at lunch in Room C125.
