Hey Warriors, the Halifax West Coffee House is this Wednesday September 26th. Make sure to show off you talent by signing up on the call board or show support by attending at 7pm, $2 at the door or $1 with a canned food donation.

Yesterday afternoon the boys’ soccer team were able to secure a 2-1 win over Dartmouth High School with some key saves from sophomore keeper Mo Ali.  Sully Elomrani on a penalty shot and Logan Harrington on beautiful finish provided the scoring.  The players are reminded of their training today after school."

Congratulations to Judy Duru, Emma Cooper, Sapna Natarajan, and Victoria Metlege who will be your Yearbook committee team leads for 2018-2019, a reminder that the first yearbook committee meeting is today at lunch in room C149, all members must attend.

If you are interested in speaking with reps from Dalhousie University they will be visiting Halifax West tomorrow (Thursday) at lunch in the caf.

The girls’ volleyball team came out on top of a tough 5 set battle with Lockview winning 3-2.  There strong team defence and hustle was the difference.  The team was led by a strong performance by Catherine MacPhail and  Tess McIsaac.

The cross-country running team is asked to meet in Mrs. Brennan's classroom, in room A284 at the beginning of lunchtime today.  This is to discuss the scheduled race for tomorrow at Point Pleasant Park and drives.  Please see Mrs. Brennan or Mr. Sullivan if you cannot attend the meeting.
