There will be a short meeting on Friday, October 5th for International EAL students in the library.  Come to the library at 12:30pm.

Grade 10 band students auditioning to play in the senior band don't forget to meet at lunch today in the music room.

Music students who would like to look at pit band music for Hairspray can pick it up today in the music room.

The first pit band rehearsal for "Hairspray" will be this Friday at 8:30 am.

Don't forget that grade 10 band and senior band rehearsals start this week in the morning.

Congratulations to the girls golf team of Haley baker and Melina Collins winning Silver at the provincials this weekend in Cape Breton. Haley Baker also had the best score for the girls division and was fourth overall.Last Thursday the boys’ soccer team propelled themselves into second place with a convincing 5-0 win over Lockview. Shawn Redondo led the way with 2, Logan Harrington, Abdullah Nimer, and Niko Zelios rounded out the scoring. Mo Ali provided the shutout. The boys return to the field today against first place Sir John A Flames. Good luck goes out to Grade 10 players, Noah MacNeil, Hudson Myatt, Garry Witow and Ibra Haschich who are participating at the Canadian U15 Club Championships in Laval Quebec with Halifax Dunbrack.

Hairspray auditions begin this week, auditioning students are asked to confirm their audition time on the Call Board in the Drama Hallway. Students are reminded to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their audition time and to wait in the Hallway until their name is called. Good luck to everyone auditioning, the list of students receiving call backs will be posted on the morning of Friday, October 19th.

Best Buddies will be meeting in the Learning center on Wednesday and in the gym on Friday this week.

Jack.org chapter meeting is today at lunch in the youth health centre, B315. New members welcome!

There will be an afterschool Yoga Class once a week beginning this Wednesday, October 3rd at 3:30 in room A282.  Sign up is on the Yoga Room door.  Please wear appropriate clothing and yoga mats will be provided.
