World Involvement and Environment Committee will be holding a meeting in C144! Drop by if you're interested in joining, selling suckers and being a part of events such as the Bowl-a-thon!

The boys soccer team sits alone in second place today with a convincing 5-1 win over CP Allen last night in Bedford. Senior Logan Harrington led the way with 2 goals while Abdul Nimer, Ryan LeRoux and Shawn Redondo added singles.  The West boys finish off their round robin with a game versus Dartmouth High on Thursday.
There will be a girls’ hockey meeting today at lunchtime in the gym.
For anyone interested in learning more about our schools mental health and wellness committee, there will be an information  meeting Thursday at lunch in room c144, we would love to see you there

Are there students of African descent who would like the opportunity to learn about computer coding and programming.  You are invited to a “Lunch and Learn” session in room B320 on Tuesday, October 16th.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Scott. 
There will be a very important Cross-country running meeting in Mrs. Brennan’s classroom (A284) at the beginning of lunch today.  All runners going to Regionals tomorrow must attend.
Halifax West's Annual Multicultural Show will be held on Thursday November 29th. All students interested in performing or being an MC for the night are invited to an information meeting on Friday October 12th at the beginning of the lunch period in C225. If you want to do the dabke, do a Greek dance, share a spoken word piece, play an instrument, or something else come out to the meeting or speak to Ms. de la Chevotière if you can't attend. All are encouraged to get involved either by being in the show or coming out to see it!
