Students can still sign up to be part of the Multicultural Show on Thursday November 29th at 6:30 p.m. We are still looking for a group to dance the dabke or other traditional dances, students to wear their traditional clothing in the Fashion Show, spoken word, perform a monologue and whatever else you would like to share with us. Groups that want to rehearse in the theatre may sign up outside of the Drama room on the call board. There is a list of dates/times and teacher chaperones posted. Please see Ms. de la Chevotiere in C225 if you want to sign up for the show!

Post Halloween yoga for any students and staff this Thursday right after school in the yoga room.   Anyone welcome!

Girls Basketball tryouts this Thursday November 1st 830-10pm in the west gym

Attention STUDENT TRAVELERS in grades 10 and 11!  Mr. McIntosh, Ms. Smith, and Ms. Skelhorn are organizing a European trip that you are not gonna wanna miss! Not this March Break, but NEXT March Break (in the year 2020), join our school on an amazing Educational adventure, as we tour the European country of ITALY!!!  We will explore the water canals of Venice, experience the ruins of Rome, savour the Artistic buildings of Florence, and walk in the steps of our Canadian Soldiers, who liberated the Italian city of Ortona during World War 2. All the details will be presented at our introduction meeting on Tuesday of NEXT Week, during lunch, in room B324.

Prom dodgeball registration forms are now available in the office.  Register your team for dodgeball, pick a fun name, and let the games begin!  Also, prom committee will be having a clothing sale in December and is now collecting clothing donations.  Donations can be brought to rooms C149 and C325, to Mme Caracristi or Miss Allen-Rice.  Left-over clothing donations, after the fundraiser will be donated to the YMCA.  So, clean out your closet and donate your unwanted clothes, today!

Any singer interested in singing at the Remembrance Day Assemblies see Mr. Burtt in the music room as soon as possible.

Any student going to Dalhousie University with Mr. Scott, please pick up your permission slip today.

The Model Parliament campaign is under way! Check out the posters of the party leaders around the school this week! Next Thursday we will have our election and your voice will be heard.  If you're interested in joining a party, speak to the leader of the party that interests you. Meetings will start soon.

The Community Involvement Committee is having a winter clothing drive for the Brunswick Street Mission.  Bring in your gently used winter clothes to your A block class starting next week. The winning class will receive a prize and all items will be donated to those in need.
