Halifax West High School

September 10th Football Home Opener - Student tickets on Sale this Saturday at HWHS 9 am to 10 am

At 7:00 PM on Monday September 10th, the Halifax West Warriors will take on the Auburn Drive Eagles at the Mainland Commons All-Weather Field in our football home-opener

Due to the spectator capacity restrictions of the venue, and the need to ensure that the event is safe for the players, spectators and staff, Halifax West will be preselling a limited number of student tickets for the event.

$3.00 STUDENT TICKETS (300 tickets)

Halifax West Students must pre-purchase their ticket to the home-opener at school on Saturday September 8th between 9 am and 10 am. Limit one ticket per student.  Students at Auburn Drive HIgh School can arrange to purchase a limited number that are on sale at their school.

THERE WILL BE NO STUDENT TICKETS SOLD AT THE GATE FOR THE HOME OPENER.  YOU MUST PRE-PURCHASE YOUR TICKET AT THE SCHOOL ON SATURDAY FROM 9 AM TO 10 AM. There is a high likely hood that the event will sell out. Spectator capacity is being strictly enforced as directed by our contract with HRM.

PARENTS, FAMILY AND CHILDREN TICKETS (300 tickets)

Parents, non-student family members, adult friends of the family, and children will be able to purchase tickets at the gate.  There is no way to pre-purchase these tickets.

In order to ensure fair access for students, and for family and friends of the team, we have allocated half the maximum number of seats for each group.  50% for student spectators, and 50% for adult family members, friends of the family or children.

It is our hope that the evening can be enjoyable for all spectators.  Security, Halifax West staff and Halifax Regional Police will be on site.

PLEASE NOTE: Once the venue has reached capacity we will have to close the gate to any family members or friends of the family who arrive late. Capacity for the venue is calculated as follows (800 total = 100 players + 100 coaching staff/volunteers/coaching staff/HWHS staff/Eastlink staff + 300 students + 300 family/adults/children)

Go Warriors!
