Our Principal, Mr. Simony, will be away from Halifax West High School for the remainder of the school year. He has been released for this time period due to responsibilities with his role as Chair of the Public School Administrators Association of Nova Scotia (PSAANS).  In his absence Ms. MacGibbon has assumed the role of Acting Principal.  Ms. Ashford Ray has returned to Halifax West and will fulfil the role of Vice-Principal for students with surnames N-Z.
