Grade 12 students that wish to be considered for the Internal Awards are required to complete the application form by 4 pm Monday, April 1st 2019. You will need to log in using your student gnspes account. 

Guidance has posted an updated potential grad list on the glass windows in the main office.  Please check to ensure that your name is spelled correctly and report any errors to Guidance.

Track & Field Season is fast approaching.  Please sign up for your events in the gym.  A practice schedule will be ready right after March Break.

The badminton tryouts will Monday, March 11th from 5:00-8:00.  See Mr. Chiasson in room C344 for further information.

Attention grade twelves.  We have extended the date to hand in your baby pictures, grad quote pages and superlatives votes for yearbook. All should be handed in to the office by Friday, March 15th. Extra copies are available in office.  Please ensure to include your full name on the back of your baby pictures. That's baby pictures, superlatives and grad quotes in by Friday, March 15th!

Anyone interesting in attending this year's Dramafest; a three day High School Theatre Festival held in May at Dalhousie University should come to an information meeting today at lunch in the Drama Room, B223.  Anyone not able to attend are asked to see Ms. Cross for registration information.

The Halifax West girl’s next field hockey practice is today in the gym from 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm.

Gold, Silver, Bronze. That was last year’s results of our own Halifax West Students as they competed in the Nova Scotia Skills Animation Competition. This year we are looking to compete again. If you have any animation experience - Learned how to use Flash CS6 in some of your courses, or just like to see what this competition is about -come to a quick meeting in Room A310 today at Lunch hour or see Mr. Wadden at your earliest convenience.

There will be a Girl’s lacrosse tryouts Monday, March 11 3:30-5:00pm. The Boy’s lacrosse tryouts are Wednesday, March 13th.
