Winter carnival is this week!  Check out the schedule on the windows in front of the theatre.

There will be a snowboard team meeting today at lunch in room A283 for any student wanting to compete in the boarder Cross at Martock

The 3v3 basketball tournament will be taking place February 18-21 at lunch in the gym. Sign up sheets are available in the office and are due back Wednesday!

The Health Action Team is looking for your help.  They have created a short survey for all students to fill out to gather some information on students’ health and well-being.  The mandate of the Health Action Team is to work for all students to promote a healthy school environment.   Information gathered from the survey will help them find out what is working well for our students and what areas need support and what the Health Action Team can focus on to make our school the best it can be for all.

The survey is anonymous and voluntary and we would appreciate all students taking two minutes to fill out our survey.   The link is on the school website under students.   Thanks in advance from the Health Action Team.

The prom committee will be selling candy grams to be delivered on valentines’ day on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week! make sure to bring $1 to send a candy gram!

Attention grade 12s! we are collecting senior quotes for the yearbook. To submit your quote either go to the link on our Instagram page @weststudentgov or head over to the link on our school's website! The deadline to get your quote in is this Friday February 14th

Breakfast club will be selling candy apples this Wednesday at lunch in the caf for $2 each

There will be a volunteerism committee meeting Wednesday at lunch in room A352. Any and all students interested in participating as a fundraiser in this years Head for a Cure - an annual school wide event where students raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation are invited to come to an information meeting this Wednesday at lunch in room A352

Buy popcorn at lunch in the caf today for $1, all funds go directly towards the Terry Fox Foundation

All jack members will meet today at lunch in the youth health center

Any girls interested in playing softball, there will be a meeting next Tuesday, February 18th at lunch in the gym
