West’s Got Talent auditions are quickly approaching! If you or someone you know wants to come show their talent of any kind, sign up for your slot on the sign up sheet on the call board. Audition dates will be Wednesday, February 26th at lunch and after school, and Friday February 28th at lunch

The Politics club will be meeting today at lunch in Room C124.  The guest is Darren Porter, who is a fisherman/ activist and biologist.  All are welcome to attend

Lift Every Voice and Sing is often called “The Black National Anthem”. It was written as a poem by NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson and then set to music by his brother John Rosamond Johnson in 1899

The knitting and crochet club will be meeting this Friday, February 28th at lunchtime in room C327. All are welcome!

There will be a badminton practice tonight, Monday, Feb 24th from 5-630. All interested in trying out for the team should attend or make sure you sign up for tryouts by going to Mr. Chiasson's room, C344. Anyone intending trying out for the badminton team MUST be on Mr. Chiasson's draw list BEFORE tryouts begin this Thursday night from 5-630

There will be a meeting for all students who are interested in the French public speaking contest this Wednesday, February 26th at lunch in room C145.

Are you interested in travelling overseas next March break, 2021? Halifax West is going to Italy, France and Spain next year! Come to an information meeting on Monday, March 9th in room C144.

Halifax West is hosting it's first Community Merchandise Bingo next Tuesday evening, March 3rd from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Come on out to play and win some great prizes! Bring your friends and family. We are excited to welcome "The Front" to play and we will also have a canteen, door prizes and a 50/50 draw.
