The Annual High School Drama Festival is happening this May at Dalhousie University Fountain School of Performing Arts. This festival is an opportunity for all students interested in any aspect of Theatre to take workshops, see shows and meet other Theatre students from around Nova Scotia. Interested students are asked to come to an information meeting Thursday March 5 at Lunch in the Drama Room B223.

A representative from St Mary’s would like to invite students who are planning on applying or have already been accepted for September to an information session during the lunch hour on March 9th. Pizza will be provided for those students. Come to Guidance to sign up if you would like to attend

Attention to all students interested in participating in the French public speaking contest. We are asking all Grade 10 students who would like to partake in the contest, to bring a copy of their speech to read this Thursday at lunch in room C145.  If you have questions, please see your French teacher or Mme Fougere.

Did you miss your chance to show us your act for West’s Got Talent this week? Now is your chance to take a shot at being an act! We have added two additional lunchtime auditions, taking place today and Friday. Sign up on the call board as always, we’ll see you there!

Thank you to all who came out to volunteer and play at our Bingo night last night. It was a great success! Stay tuned for our grand total raised. 

Congratulations to our boys hockey team for a huge 2-0 victory at their provincial qualifier game last night against Park View! Goals were scored by Cameron Robertson and Jack Walsh. Good luck at provincials this weekend boys!

All students interested in building a life-size BB-8 Robot are invited to the Halifax West Makerspace in B321 today at lunch. 

All students and staff interested in being a part of the Halifax West Cosplay Club are invited to come to the Halifax West Makerspace in B321 tomorrow at lunch. We are learning to design and make costumes in the hopes of attending next falls Halcon Event.
