Halifax West's Annual Multicultural Show will be held on Thursday November 29th. All students interested in performing or being an MC for the night are invited to an information meeting on Friday, October 12th at the beginning of the lunch period in C225. If you want to do the dabke, do a Greek dance, share a spoken word piece, play an instrument, or something else come out to the meeting or speak to Ms. de la Chevotière if you can't attend. All are encouraged to get involved either by being in the show or coming out to see it!


There will be a lunchtime meeting today in the seminar room for Mr. Scott’s Umoja group.  Bring your lunch.


Are there students of African descent who would like the opportunity to learn about computer coding and programming.  You are invited to a “Lunch and Learn” session in room B320 on Tuesday, October 16th.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Scott. 


Yoga is cancelled this week due to the in-service.  It will commence on Thursday, Oct. 25th.

Good luck to the West BASEBALL Team as they represent the Metro Region at the Provincial Championships this weekend. The round robin will take place at Mainland Common Field by CGC - come out and support your warriors as they take on Glace Bay at 1:00 pm!  The boys are reminded of a quick 5-minute meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Room C127.

Any boys A soccer players who have raffle tickets to submit are asked to meet Mr. Iatrou or Mr. Gavas today at 12:25 at the front doors adjacent to the library. All players are reminded of their training Monday after school 3:45 at Mainland.


There will be a very important cross country running meeting at the beginning of lunch today in Mrs. Brennan’s room A284.
