Women in Tech Day!
Dalhousie Faculty of Computer Science wishes to invite you to the third annual Women In Tech Event on Friday, November 15th.

Women In Tech Day is an inspiring, stereotype-busting, interactive exploration which encourages young women to consider the many career pathways and ever increasing employment openings which exist through the study of computer science and technology.

This event will help young women realize the possibilities offered through a career in technology by hearing important messages of the future from other students, faculty and industry. The skill sets needed by industry through the study of computer science and IT can be linked to every aspect of study from communication, art and design, business, medicine, health, engineering, law and more. There are also scholarship opportunities.
If you are interested in learning more please attend a meeting at lunch on Tuesday, October 22nd in Room B320. If you cannot make this meeting but wish to attend please see Mr. Watt.
