Any Grade 12 students who have not had their grad photos taken yet or would like retakes tomorrow is your last chance!! Sign up is in the main office

Grade 12 students interested in applying to be the HWHS nominee for the Schulich Leader Scholarship, please pick up an application in guidance and submit it by Monday, December 9 at 3:20pm. Halifax West is allowed to nominate one person.

Today will be our fourth session of the politics club. Come out to partake in discussion with MLA Sue Leblanc who will be discussing Women in politics. Bring your lunch and join us at lunch today in room C144.

The Winter clothing drive is coming to an end. We ask that all teachers of C block classes send a student to the gov room with the clothes from your room today at the beginning of C block

The boy’s hockey team would like to thank Student Government for their support on Saturday night for Pink in the Rink.  We had a good turnout for this event.  Parents on the team along with some students from the West did a great job in proving a fun environment for a very important cause.  There were staff members who attended and we thank them for their support.

To add to the night our Warriors defeated Citadel by a score of 6-1 with Mason Wood having a hat trick, Nick Tarnogorski with two goals and Cameron Robertson with a single marker.  Next Saturday the team will play Sir John A.
