Any student interested in a two week trip to China on the March Break, please attended a meeting on Thursday at lunch in room C240.

Applications to be nominated for the Loran Scholarship are due to guidance on Friday, October 6th at 9am. Please see the guidance bulletin board for more details.

If you are interested in joining a club or group at HWHS check out the updated list of clubs running this year on our school website.  If you have any questions, please see the teacher in charge of the club.

Cross-country running practices will be held today and Thursday after school. Runners are asked to meet in Mrs. Brennan's classroom at 3:30 pm.

Wednesday: Badminton

Thursday: Table Tennis

Friday: Badminton

Students must have gym clothes in order to participate in Badminton.  Staff is welcome to attend.

Hey Warriors!  The World Involvement Committee is resuming sucker sales this week at lunch in the caf. Look for the red and white cart and come buy a delicious sucker for only $1.  There are lots of fun flavours to choose from and all proceeds go to a great cause - The Nova Scotia Gambia Association!

Would you like to save money while you shop? Come to the caf at lunch and buy a Student Price Card for only $10 and save at a variety of stores all year long!  David's Tea, Forever 21, American Eagle, Pita Pit and much more!  Check it out at the sucker cart any day at lunch.

Students who didn't sign up for the Multicultural Show may still do so by signing on the sheet posted in the Drama hallway. Students who wish to audition to be this year's Multicultural Show hosts should sign up there as well by Friday October 6th.

The West Baseball Team is reminded of their practice today @ 3:30 at WESTRIDGE FIELD. 

Our annual Yearbook cover contest is starting back up, anyone interested in creating a design for the 2017-18 yearbook cover please bring in your design to room C149 any time before October 6th.

The yearbook committee will be collecting Grade 12 baby pictures for the 2017-18 year book. For any grade twelves interested in submitting a photo, please bring it to room C149 any time before October 6th.

Interested in helping out in your community? Student Government is holding their annual Wake-A-Thon on October 20th. Students can stay up all night in the school in support of the Brunswick Street Mission and Ronald McDonald House. Pledge forms are available in the office for all of those who are interested. We’d love to see you there!

There is a Girls Volleyball game today at 6pm vs Citadel at Halifax West! Come out and support our warriors! 

Good luck to our Cross Country runners at their meet today! 

Any Girls from the B soccer team who haven't gotten their forms, you can pick one up from Mr. Smeltzer.

There will be popcorn on sale today at lunch in the caf for one dollar in support of the Terry Fox Foundation. 

Just a reminder that anyone interested in singing in the school choir should meet today at lunch in the music room.  Bring your lunch and be ready to sing.

Also, jazz band begins tomorrow morning at 8 am for anyone interested in playing in that group.
