Attention graduating students:  This is the LAST WEEK to buy prom tickets.  See Mrs. Langille in room C244 before school, at lunch or after school.  Permission forms must be signed by parent/guardian before a ticket can be purchased.  Prom tickets will NOT be sold during class time.

WE Schools will be selling a Mother's Day Gift all week in the cafeteria.  Gifts can be pre-ordered Monday to Thursday this week in the cafeteria with pick up on Friday.  Help support WE Schools local fundraiser and give your Mom a little token of appreciation. 

Tryouts for the boys’ softball team will take place today at 3:30 @ Westridge Field. 

ATTENTION WARRIORS!  Any students who would like to volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Society at their annual MS walk on May 27 at the Canada Games Centre are asked to attend a brief meeting today at lunch in room C144 or see Mme Fougere at any time this week for information. 

This is a message for grade 12 EAL students who are taking part in the EAL Survey Thursday.  Please come to the Seminar room or Ms. Brennan’s room (A284) on your free period or during your LST class.  Also, tomorrow there will be a pizza party at noon hour in the seminar to celebrate as well. 

The Spring Student Drama Production of "Small Actors" is Wednesday May 16 at 7:00 pm in the Bella Rose Arts Center.  Come support the final Theatre Production of the year, for only $5 at the door. 

Mr. Burtt would like to congratulate the band students who participated in music festivals last week.  The concert band attended the Kiwanis Music Festival where they received a silver standing and the Annapolis Valley Music Festival where they received a gold standing.  The jazz band also attended Kiwanis where they earned a gold standing.  Congrats and well done to all band students. 

All Track Athletes are reminded to have all forms in and to pick up their Spikes and Singlets by Friday.  Nothing will be available after Friday.  Please check the information board in the gym. 

Well rumour had it that Citadel had not lost a field hockey game in three years … your Halifax West Warriors girls field hockey team put that rumour to bed with a 5-4 win in double overtime to win the 2018 league championship!!  It was a tremendous team effort as the team never gave up and clawed back from a 4-1 deficit to tie the game and send it to extra time.  The OT periods were an epic battle with the West getting the golden goal winner with 1 minute left to end it!  Congratulations to all team members on a terrific season.
