Students can still sign up to be part of the Multicultural Show on Thursday November 29th at 6:30 p.m. We are still looking for a group to dance the dabke or other traditional dances, students to wear their traditional clothing in the Fashion Show, spoken word, perform a monologue and whatever else you would like to share with us. Groups that want to rehearse in the theatre may sign up outside of the Drama room on the call board. There is a list of dates/times and teacher chaperones posted. Please see Ms. de la Chevotiere in C225 if you want to sign up for the show! 

Post Halloween yoga for any students and staff this tonight right after school in the yoga room.   Anyone welcome!

Girls Basketball tryouts this tonight November 1st 830-10pm in the west gym

Attention STUDENT TRAVELERS in grades 10 and 11!  Mr. McIntosh, Ms. Smith, and Ms. Skelhorn are organizing a European trip that you are not gonna wanna miss! Not this March Break, but NEXT March Break (in the year 2020), join our school on an amazing Educational adventure, as we tour the European country of ITALY!!!  We will explore the water canals of Venice, experience the ruins of Rome, savour the Artistic buildings of Florence, and walk in the steps of our Canadian Soldiers, who liberated the Italian city of Ortona during World War 2. All the details will be presented at our introduction meeting on Tuesday of NEXT Week, during lunch, in room B324. 

Prom dodgeball registration forms are now available in the office.  Register your team for dodgeball, pick a fun name, and let the games begin!  Also, prom committee will be having a clothing sale in December and is now collecting clothing donations.  Donations can be brought to rooms C149 and C325, to Mme Caracristi or Miss Allen-Rice.  Left-over clothing donations, after the fundraiser will be donated to the YMCA.  So, clean out your closet and donate your unwanted clothes, today!

Attention all Health Action Team members: An important meeting will be held today in the youth health centre, B315 beginning promptly at lunch.

Do you like ungodly profits, non-existent government intervention and unbridled capitalism? Perfect! Then join the Free Market Party of our Model Parliament.  The first meeting is today at lunch in room C125 and we will follow up with more meetings on Mondays!

The Hairspray Cast List will be posted on the Call board and through Social Media tomorrow morning by 8:00 am; all students that auditioned are asked to check the lists for their name as well as important details about upcoming rehearsals. Thank you to everyone who came out to audition for this amazing production.

All students that wish to participate in the "Women in Tech Day" at Dalhousie University on November 16th are reminded to pass in their permission forms to Mr. Watt in Room B320.​ Space is limited.

Any students participating in the free RBC icode and Robotics after-school program are reminded of today's session starting at 3:30 in Room B320.

The Halifax West Programming Club resumes today at lunch in Room B320. Our weekly guest Robert Smith from Dalhousie University will be in attendance. 

The boys’ soccer team is reminded of their training today at 4 pm at Tremont field.
