There will be a meeting in C225 on today, October 18th for all those interested in participating in the Multicultural Show on November 27th. If you sing, dance, play an instrument, read poetry, act, or want to join a group please come to the meeting. If you want to host the show please come to the meeting. If you want to find out how to be involved be in C225 at 11: 50! If you can't make it,  but are interested in being part of Halifax West's 30 year tradition then email Ms. de la Chevotière.

Reminder to all students:   For all students who had their photos taken on the first day the proofs are in the office to be picked up.
For anyone interested in trying out for the boys basketball teams. Tryouts will be taking place today, October 18th at 6:30 pm, Saturday at 10 am and Sunday at 10 am. Please see Mr. Watson in room C341A or C327 if you have any questions.

Girls basketball tryouts will start today October 18th 4-5:30, Saturday 1-2:30 and Sunday 1-2:30

Calling all students interested in joining the schools Health Action Team. Come to the youth health centre at lunch today, B315 to get involved!
Any students interested in participating in our school remembrance Day assemblies please see Mr. Burtt in the music room.  We need em cee's, readers, singers, cadets and reservists.  Anyone who would like to be involved please see Mr. Burtt

The Model Parliament meeting scheduled for today has been cancelled and rescheduled to MONDAY at lunch.

Wake-A-Thon pledge forms are now available in the main office. Pick up yours today! Forms and money are due back to the main office by the end of the day next Wednesday, October 23rd. Wake-A-Thon is next Friday! Come out to this fun event!

NSISP and International students are reminded that they can come for extra help on Monday mornings in the Seminar room.

The boys soccer team is reminded of their meeting today at lunch in the seminar room . All players are asked to attend.
